The Skinny on Healthy Digestion..ya dig?!

I have been doing some research on the benefits of juicing to better my digestive system. I learned in my quest that there are pros to pairing food or not when eating. Here are some food combinations you should keep in mind when eating and juicing:

*Protein should not be eaten with starchy food such as potatoes. Meat, fish, and poultry are better digested with leafy greens, peppers, tomatoes, and most green veggies. Protein breaks down the slowest (giving you the most energy).

*Carbs break down faster than protein and should also be eaten with leafy greens.

*Since fruit requires the least amount of time to break down (in turn does not keep you feeling full) it is best eaten early in the morning and by it self or with other fruits. Fruit can cause bloating when eating with a meal.

These tips will help your body break down for complete & the most efficient digestion. Which will keep you skinny and bloat free.
